May the new year brings new rays of hope....

I know I'm a little late in conveying my best wishes for the new year...but, it's never too late. So here's wishing a very happy and prosperous New Year. My wish for you is that may you get what your heart desires....

Hoping the new year is turning out to be as expected. It's too early to gauge that but, I'm sure we all must have got the feelers now that we are already into the third week of January. Boy, time is really flying...

So, how did you celebrate the dawn of the New Year? Well, I was in my favorite city, Dubai. I couldn't have asked for more. Attended a small private terrace party and witnessed the magnanimous firework of Burj Khalifa. I never go out on the new year's eve...but, this time I made an exception...I still prefer to remain indoor any day and write my journal like I do every year...Some moments are to be cherished and so this will be...

I changed my BlackBerry device to 9900 which has a 5 MP Camera and I went clicking and guess what? I've managed to capture the sun...Yes, I finally looked into its eyes...

Something God-like about these pictures....Isn't it?

Clicked from my sister's balcony. This is BurJuman residency. Love the way the rays seep across

Clicked this one on my way to the airport outside BurJuman Mall...I was sad, but this sun did cheer me up :)
Last but not the least...This is my favorite one...Clicked at Safaa Park. Love the distortion....

May the new year brings new rays of hope just like the above sun in our lives...

My sweet serendipitous moment...

Just when you are down and out with the feeling of being unloved and unwanted, the universe has had the last laugh and bingo I encounter a sweet serendipitous moment...

I've been down with viral and after being holed up home alone for almost a week, I ventured out to the market. Stopped to pay for the bread and when I pulled out the note, I smiled. A smile so big that reached my ears. This fifty rupees note which I got from the chemist had "I love you" written on it. So yes, someone somewhere loves you. ( could have got away with this filmy dialogue)
I'm gonna keep this priceless note...
